►Leoch DJ1000 Battery Installation and Storage
1. Installation Environment
Maintain adequate ventilation and avoid enclosed spaces (to prevent the risk of hydrogen gas accumulation).
Keep away from fire, high temperature, moisture and corrosive gases.
2 Battery Orientation
Avoid installing upside down or tilted to prevent electrolyte leakage.
3. Long-term Storage
Fully charge the battery before storage and recharge it every 3 months to prevent permanent capacity loss due to self-discharge.
The recommended storage temperature is 10-25°C in a dry environment.
3. Daily Maintenance
Regular Inspection
Observe the battery to check for swelling, leakage and terminal corrosion.
Check whether the connecting wires are loose to prevent heating due to poor contact.
Cleaning the Terminals
If the terminals are oxidized, wipe them with fine sandpaper and then apply Vaseline or special antiseptic.
Equalization Charge
